Some photos from my wanderings. Above - an Orthodox church and the attached monastery in the Old City of Bucharest. Here (just above) the banking district and (last photo) the square Soviet era apartment buildings EVERYWHERE the eye can see. The regime forced people to migrate to the city and the buildings were constructed for efficiency and to hide any architectural creativity and relics from the past (churches most specifically).
