Just returned home from an 8-day trip that included a stop over in Michigan to see my parents. Mom just completed a stunning portrait of me and my sister (shown here) and admittedly, I was awed by it when seeing it in person for the first time! She outdid herself.The trip also included a rather dramatic/headline event with the President of an African country in Chicago, a greek dinner with two journalist fellows, and a successful conference panel with our partner.
I'm glad to be home. Will write more later.
